Christmas show held at the Benitatxell Arts Centre featuring the students from Stage Door presenting their work from the autumn term. The children were joined by their guests, "Adagio" peforming excerpts from their own Christmas show, and Amanda and Sam Dean with songs from the hit Andrew Lloyd Webber show Evita. |

This very special show
proved a real eye-opener to cast and audience alike.
The one and only 17 week rehearsal period gave a real
insight into the work need to produce such a demanding,
but ultimately satisfying, show. A stark composite
performing platform gave the cast the incentive to
create many genuinely moving scenes and memorable characterisations.
A wonderfully produced score by Roger Dean, atmospheric
lighting from Desmond Webb, and slick stage management,
all enhanced by a wonderful team performance by the
cast, meant that after-show comments like the following
from a local drama teacher "That was probably
the best show I've seen on the Costa Blanca",
echoed throughout the foyer as the audience left. |
